April 2023: What Happened in the Watauga Housing Market?

It’s Spring. In Spring characteristically the number of properties begins to spike, often continually through July and August.  The stats for April indicate that is happening in 2023.  The inventory is still low because homes continue to sell but in April more homes came on the market than sold. Not a great deal more but enough to edge up the amount of inventory slightly.  The average sale price, the medium sales price, the number under contract, the list to sell ratio, and the average square foot value are holding fairly steady.
