High Country Farmers Markets

Saturday mornings from May through November you’re most likely to find me at the Watauga Farmers Market, located in the Horn in the West parking lot in Boone.  Buying locally grown, organic veggies brightens my life and strengthens my health.  All manner of other offerings are available:  veggie and flowering plants, bakery goods, fresh eggs, honey, hot coffee, a biscuit food truck, jellies, and many forms of crafts.  It makes me very happy to support local farmers at the same time bringing home delicious veggies for my vegan lifestyle.  More info:  Watauga County Farmers’ Market (wataugacountyfarmersmarket.org)

Our area offers many other Farmers Markets as well.
